Challenge
It is rare to find consultants with knowledge across the various phases of the DevOps agile software development process. The client wanted to develop Salesforce workflows that required a consultant with advanced expertise in the Salesforce software. Moreover, the consultant would need to integrate with Dell Boomi too. There was a need for Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CICD) while ensuring fully developed pipelines in Jenkins under the branching and release strategy.
Technical challenge was to integrate in short time number of on premise banking systems.
Solution
The team provisioned Salesforce development environments using use cases from similar prior deployments. We worked closely with the Salesforce architects of the client and enabled the creation of a Salesforce tooling. We developed a complete DevOps architectural strategy along with pipelines for developers to work on version management system in Gitlab.
Our experts helped our clients by handholding through the integrated file transfer with Dell Boomi and used Atomsphere to manage the deployment. Additionally, the team also developed artefacts for Jenkinsfile pipelines and configured Gitlab web hooks with Jenkins triggers.
Result
The developers were able to work on a version control system. By performing CICD, the pipelines helped in ensuring more efficient work.
The training imparted to the client’s team allowed them to understand the entire deployment. The project was cost-effective and led to a reduction in operational expenditure by around 20%.
